Mother Earth is an abstract expressionism series. Mother Earth 1 and 2 are painted with watercolor and gouache on 30” x 40” canvas with an archival varnish. The paintings are framed with metal shadow frames. Mother Earth began as an experiment in AI on MidJourney. I was curious about what she looked like and liked the results of her hair being filled with botanical, floral, and butterfly creations, but I made many changes when drawing and painting to make her my version.

Mother Earth Out of Time is a digital collage with AI, photos, vector drawings, and digital rendering. It speaks of modern times when we are rethinking Barbie and facing global warming.

My experience as a chef, stylist, and photographer has earned many awards, including APA Top 100, ACF Gold Medal, and a juried fine art photo exhibit at Art Basel Miami. I was Executive Pastry Chef for two Hyatt Hotels and Resorts before completing two post-baccalaureate certificates for Visual Art and Graphic Design at U.C. Berkeley Extension in San Francisco.
