Peace Gardens

Peace Gardens is a series of works that is inspired by photographing many botanical gardens and the Japanese tea garden in the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It relays the visual effect of many layers of colors and shapes that are all made possible by the passage of time. I have made these on wood panels on a layer of watercolor ground textured like cold press paper. There are many layers of watercolors and ink in these tranquil abstracts. They are finished with an archival varnish.
